The short version

What stays on your device

Everything you log in Quitwell — cravings, triggers, what you tried, and whether it helped — is stored locally on your device. We don't upload your craving history to a server, we don't read it, and we can't hand it over to anyone because we don't have it.

What we collect

To keep your subscription working across app updates, we store a subscription status tied to an anonymous device identifier — not your name, not your email, not your vaping history. If you choose to enter an email for account recovery, that's optional and only used for that purpose.

What we never do

We don't use advertising SDKs. We don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't sell your data, ever, to anyone, for any reason. There's no data broker relationship to disclose because none exists.

Analytics

We use basic, privacy-conscious product analytics (anonymized usage events like “SOS flow started” or “trigger selected”) to understand what's working and improve the app. These events never include the content of what you logged — only that an action happened.

Children's privacy

This app is intended for users old enough to independently manage a nicotine or vaping habit and is rated accordingly on the App Store. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Your control

You can delete all your local data by deleting the app. If you've entered an email for account recovery, you can request its deletion by contacting us below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this screen and note the new date above. We won't quietly expand what we collect without telling you here first.
